Overview
High above the city of L.A. a team of terrorists has seized a building, taken hostages, and declared war. But one man has managed to escape detection...an off-duty cop. He's alone...tired...and the only chance anyone has.

Bruce Willis stars as New York City Detective John McClane, newly arrived in Los Angeles to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged wife (Bonnie Bedelia). But as McClane waits for his wife's office party to break up, terrorists take control of the building. While the terrorist leader, Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) and his savage henchman (Alexander Godunov) round up hostages, McClane slips away unnoticed. Armed with only a service revolver and his cunning, McClane launches his own one-man war. A crackling thriller from beginning to end, DIE HARD explodes with heart-stopping suspense.

Easter Eggs
Insert the first disc from the set and from the main menu go to the 'Language Selection' submenu. Here, highlight the entry for English subtitles and then press the 'right' arrow key on your remote control to highlight the image of Bruce Willis. Press 'Enter' now and you will get to see a credit screen.

On the second disc of the set, go to the discís main menu and press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control. If you press 'Enter' now, you will see an explosion of the Nakatomi building from the movie, which in real life actually is the 20th Century Fox office building, followed by the lines 'There goes Fox Home Entertainment.'

To see another hidden feature, from the second discís main menu select 'From The Vault' and then 'Outtakes.' Then select 'The Vault' and on the next screen press the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control twice. This will highlight a small gun on the screen, which will give you the chance to watch the outtakes with music only.
