Overview
"Weird Al" Yankovic, Kevin McCarthy (Innerspace), Michael Richards ("Seinfeld"), David Bowe (The Cable Guy), Victoria Jackson ("Saturday Night Live") and Fran Drescher ("The Nanny") star in this inspired comedy about an offbeat guy who turns a deadbeat TV station into a raging success! Broadcasting Weird Al's unique brand of humor, UHF is a place you'll want to visit – with increasing frequency!

George Newman (Weird Al) is a daydreamer whose hyperactive imagination keeps him from holding a steady job...until his uncle hires him to manage Channel 62, a station that's losing money and viewers fast. But when George replaces the station's reruns with bizarre programs like "Wheel of Fish" and "Raul's Wild Kingdom" (where poodles fly from third-story windows), ratings begin to soar! Can George find the money he needs to stay on the air? Stay tuned!

Easter Eggs
Easter Egg #1

On the Main Menu, highlight Audio Options, then arrow down. The radio knob below will become highlighted. Press enter. You will see a brief scene where Weird Al is in the editing room, finishing up UHF, where he gives the film a brief introduction. After that, the movie starts.

Easter Egg #2

Go to the Audio Setup menu. Arrow down to Francais, then arrow left. This should highlight the 'Red Snapper' fish. Press enter. You will see an extra long scene of Stanley at his clubhouse window.

Easter Egg #3

Go to the Special Features menu. Arrow down to highlight the Commentary icon, then arrow left. The "Watch for Falling Rocks" sign becomes highlighted. Press enter. You will see a close up of Stanley Spadowski saying "Be There!" from one of the UHF TV commercials.

Easter Egg #4

Go to the Scene Selections, then highlight chapters 13-16 and then arrow down. The thing on the bottom between the knobs will be highlighted. Press enter. You will see a scene from the telethon with Fran Drescher.

Easter Egg #5

Go to the Special Features menu. Scroll down the list, and if you see an icon pop up next to a feature that informs you that the highlighted feature is on the other side of the DVD, hit select. Weird Al himself will walk onto the screen and personally inform you that you have to turn the DVD over to see that particular feature. If you keep trying to select a feature that is on the other side, Al will continue to get more and more aggravated.
